SCHOOL NEWS

Experiential Learning Days
While our Seniors visit the Nation's Capital next week, the underclassmen and women
will enjoy two days of "extended learning."  On Monday there will be 16 different all-day workshops to choose from - everything from stone carving and cooking to bonsai and more.  One group will go behind the scenes at our own Bryn Athyn Elementary School to meet the principal and administrators and visit classrooms.  Another will engage in ANC's Project Runway contest.  Still another will learn equine care, including buggy rides.
On Tuesday, school will start at 9:15  am.  Two recent alumni will address the students and tell them what they have been up to  since graduation and how they are building their careers.  In the afternoon, the boys and girls will separate for special Boys School and Girls School
programs.  With exams over, this is a great chance to experience some skills and ideas that are not part of the regular curriculum.

Stop Hunger NOW - Cory Boyce
More than 200 volunteers converged on the elementary school gym, including more than
75 ANC students, plus children and grandparents. When it was all over, they had packaged 30,024 meals with Stop Hunger NOW!  In a month or two, we will know exactly where those meals are destined and will share that information.  In the meantime, thanks to everyone for your support of this project.  We would like to host this event again, and hope even more of you will have an opportunity to be part of this effort.
